Hi! I’m Mariana Hermosillo Méndez  🐶

I was born in Guadalajara, México 🇲🇽, where I’ve lived all my life, until now that I’ve been living in Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦, for two years. Since I was a child I have always loved drawing and painting, as well as telling stories. ✍🏻

I graduated 🎓 in 2020 from UNIVA (Universidad del Valle de Atemajac) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animation, Digital Art and Multimedia. In addition, I successfully completed a Continuing Studies Diploma in 2D Animation and Digital Art at Langara College (Vancouver, BC, Canada) in 2022.

I have worked as a 2D Animator, Director and, Producer on the short film 🌙 The Moon’s Letter (2023). In addition, I have participated in different independent illustration projects, and in the animated web series Origen creating backgrounds. I have also been an animator in the short film A helping hand 🐲 (2020), a story about friendship and respect for nature. I’m focused on 2D animation and illustration. 🧸

My hobbies are painting, drawing, hanging out with friends, reading, and of course, watching series and movies, being my favorites How to Train Your Dragon, Naruto, Spirited Away, Lilo & Stitch, The Lion King, Your Name, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and, Tangled.  🥰 ❤
